My mobile died, now I’m trying to plan what to get.
Model – Bad – Good
HTC Magic – No physical keyboard, small internal memory – Android, Cheap, Widgets
TouchPro2 – Windows Mobile, Small Internal Memory, expensive – Keyboard, may support android one day
N97 – Expensive, S60 – Keyboard, large internal storage, Widgets
If your choice is between only these three phones, the HTC Magic is most definitely what you should get. Symbian phones all suck, no exceptions, as do Windows Mobile phones (and getting a Windows Mobile phone in the hope that it might one day run android is very silly imo). Also, the TouchPro 2 hardware just isn’t very good anyway. The Magic is great, I’m enjoying mine – but there are a lot of good Android phones coming out quite soon, it might be worth waiting (especially for the Samsung i7500 (Galaxy).
IM being forced to get a phone this afternoon. As my HTC Hermes died on Monday and the misses is insisting I get a new phone today.
